We can store your medical face shields and ship them as you need. In this case you will need to agree to a “Customer Owned Inventory” agreement that defines legal responsibilities for the arrangement.

The J-Shield Face Shield is an FDA Class I medical device. Our face shields provide larger face coverage than many face shields on the market. The materials used for the face shield are 100% medical grade and chemical resistant: closed cell foamintegrated PETG head strap and medical grade visor. A key feature of the J-Shield face Shield is the medical grade closed cell head foam and the strap feature, which do not absorb contaminants such as sweat, make-up and cleaning chemicals. They are easily decontaminated.

The face shield visor was designed with clinical feedback from world renowned medical institutions. Additional specifications can be downloaded at http://j-pacmedical.com/pdfs/product-sheets/J-Shields-Product-Sheet.pdf.

How do I clean the face shield?

Our cleaning procedure is based on CDC guidelines. There is a Whitepaper on our site with more details.

There are two steps to cleaning and disinfection. Both work together to provide the best results:

  1. Cleaning
    1. Don gloves
    2. Inspect the shield and discard if damage is found.
    3. Wash all surfaces in a warm soapy water solution.
    4. Wipe dry with a clean soft cloth or air dry. Air dry will reduce the chance of scratching the visor.
  2. Disinfection
    1. Don gloves
    2. Wipe the shield from inside out using a 70% IPA solution.
    3. Allow IPA to contact the shield materials for the recommended time specified by the IPA manufacturer. Contact time is very important and different brands claim different contact times.
    4. Air dry.
